Coal accounts for about 75% of primary energy in China, and the most important source of air pollution is coal fired boiler. The state has worked out a plan for phased control of industrial pollution sources. For thermal power plants, the newly built, rebuilt coal-fired units synchronous construction of desulphurization facilities, the existing units to implement emission reduction measures.
Desulfurization project has become a supporting project of coal-fired units. Shanghai since through years of engineering experience, familiar with a variety of flue gas desulfurization (NGD) process: Limestone / lime gypsum desulfurization process, spray drying technology of desulfurization of limestone injection into furnace after humidifying desulfurization technology (LIFAC) and circulating fluidized bed flue gas desulfurization technology (CFB-FGD).
To function as an independent system of distributed 2*600MW coal-fired unit project control system, covering each unit (flue gas desulfurization unit system, GGH system, FGD, absorption and emission of flushing system), utilities (limestone, gypsum pulp dewatering, wastewater treatment, compressed air system) and NGD (variable electrical system including desulfurization monitor and control, high and low voltage power supply circuit, UPS, DC monitoring system etc.).
DCS main functions: data acquisition (DAS), analog control (MCS), sequence control (SCS), electrical control system (ECS) function, and realize the communication interface unit DCS system, SIS system and other control system interface and independent server configuration.
The company to undertake the project implementation unit 28 desulfurization project, mainly in the 600MW and 300MW units, there are three typical engineering 2*600MW unit, Shaanxi Huadian Pucheng power plant two 2*300MW unit of Pengcheng power plant in Jiangxi, Xuzhou Huarun Guixi power plant two 2*300MW unit, both as a supporting project of DCS power generation unit.
Engineering practice has proved that the system is running well, the system can achieve the utilization rate of 99.9%, SCS and MCS system, the average time to failure (MTBF) is greater than 16000 hours. To ensure the safe operation of the whole plant and the smooth flow of information. And in Pucheng power plant three (2 * 600MW) flue gas desulfurization project has played a good role model.

The company undertook a total of 28 sets of desulfurization units of the project implementation, mainly 600MW and 300MW units based. Typical engineering:
