Working principle of eccentric rotary control valve

The eccentric rotary control valve is a straight-through valve body structure with a novel structure and low fluid resistance. The center of rotation of the valve core is not concentric with the rotating shaft, which can reduce the wear of the valve seat and extend the service life; there is a guide at the rear of the valve core. The wing is conducive to the stable flow of fluid and has excellent stability. At the same time, it also has the advantages of large flow rate and wide adjustable range, which is especially suitable for the control of process systems containing slurry.

Features of eccentric rotary control valve

1. Long life of valve seat. Durable and strong metal or ceramic seat sealing ring and eccentric valve core reduce the friction between the valve core and the valve seat during the opening and closing process, and improve the damage of the valve seat sealing surface and the resistance when opening. When the valve core rotates to the closed position, the valve core and the valve seat sealing ring will automatically overlap, so that the sealing surfaces can get a more reasonable fit. The material of the seat sealing ring can be 316 stainless steel, A105 forged carbon steel surfacing hard alloy and ceramics.

2. Reliable performance. The special valve seat sealing ring design can automatically center, self-lap, and dynamically align with the valve core, which can increase the service life. Sealed metal bearings can prevent particles from accumulating on the shaft surface and prevent the valve core from rotating.

3. Multiple operations are possible. The self-centering valve seat sealing ring and sturdy valve core can achieve sealing when used in either direction of forward flow or reverse flow. Using the backward flow direction, the outlet turbulence zone is far away from the valve seat sealing surface. In addition, the 90°C stroke of the valve core also helps to reduce the erosion of the valve core and the flowing medium and reduce the possibility of damage.
