1、 Installation method and precautions of load cell


(1) Installation of load cell


When installing the load cell, especially the small capacity load cell made of aluminum alloy elastomer, special care should be taken, because any vibration or drop may cause serious damage to the load cell and affect its measurement performance. Generally, for the large capacity resistance strain type load cell, their weight is relatively large, Therefore, in the process of transportation and installation, it is necessary to use suitable lifting equipment (such as hand hoist and electric hoist). The mounting surface of the base of the load cell should be flat and clean, and there should be no oil film or rubber film. The base of the load cell should have enough strength and stiffness, which should be higher than the strength and stiffness of the load cell itself.



2) Precautions for installation of load cell

 The signal line of the load cell should not be arranged in parallel with the power line or the control line (for example, do not put the signal line of the load cell in the same root canal with the power line and the control line). If it must be placed in parallel, the distance between them should be at least 50 cm, and the signal line should be lined with metal tube. In any case, the signal line should be placed in the same root canal, The power line and control line of the load cell should be twisted to the level of 50rpm. If the signal line of the load cell needs to be extended, a special sealed cable junction box should be used. If the cable is directly connected to the welding end instead of using this junction box, special attention should be paid to the tightness and moisture resistance. After connection, the installation standard should be met.

  If the signal cable is very long and the measurement accuracy is very high, the cable with relay should be considered. All leads leading to or leaving the display circuit should use shielded cable. The connection and connection point of the shielded wire should be reasonable. If it is not grounded through the mechanical frame, it should be grounded from the outside. However, when the shielded wires are connected to each other, they are not grounded but floating, Note: the load cell itself is composed of four wires, and the junction box is replaced by six wires. The readout circuit of the load cell output signal should not be placed in the same box with the equipment that will produce strong interference and the equipment that will generate a lot of heat.
