Shanghai Automation Instrumentation takes step in the nuclear power

A few days ago, the NC and 1E-level temperature sensors used for serious accidents of Fuqing 5# and 6# units undertaken by Shanghai Automation Instrumentation completed all the tests after the LOCA test, laying the foundation for the supply of temperature measuring instruments for the "Hualong No. 1". Shanghai Automation Instrumentation has taken another solid step in the field of nuclear power temperature instrumentation.

Units 5# and 6# of Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant are the first demonstration project of China’s independent third-generation nuclear power technology "Hualong No. 1". The project is EPC contracted by China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Automation Instrumentation Co., Ltd. is responsible for the use of the project. R&D and manufacturing of temperature sensors for NC and 1E serious accidents. The temperature sensor for serious accidents is mainly used to meet the temperature measurement of pipeline fluid and dome under severe accident conditions, and mainly undertakes reactor protection functions and post-accident monitoring functions.

With the smooth passing of the LOCA test, Shanghai Automation Instrumentation Co., Ltd. has taken another solid step in the field of nuclear power temperature meters; with the completion of the appraisal test project, it also indicates that the company has the ability to measure the temperature of the "Hualong No. 1" Based on instrument supply, Shanghai Automation Instrumentation Co., Ltd. will make new contributions to the development of China’s nuclear power industry。
